Reply 27/04/2021rockjano Didyou buy the Atomstack A5 or the A5 Pro ...tey say that the pro is a lot better isn't it???
Reply 28/04/2021rockjano @forrera Isee ... well advideo's are always like that... Did you managed to cut balsa ribs after all (I would buy for that too) Air assist probably helps a lot (if you can put it here also a nailbed or similar is better for cutting) 600mm/min is a bit fast I think it is 10mm/sec usually people who cut use 2-3mm/sec that takes it down to 1-2 runs's which is not bad, also it probably cut's 3mm plywood and that is just OK for modelling..It is not a CO2 laser does not cost that much either :-)
Reply 02/05/2021forrera I've tried fast cut and high power and also slow speed with low power. The problem with multiple slow cut is sometimes it burns the balsa. I do cut balsa but you have to adjust speed and power according to the density of the sheet. It has built in air assist and I like it.
